Coordinator and job description:
Team Breakfast: will be served every game at Coach Bahr's room (E311).  Breakfast is delivered to the main office by 6:40 a.m. on game day.  Call/Text Coach Bahr at (301) 379-6099 once you are close to SHS, so he can send players to the office to help bring stuff up.

These are just guidelines for team breakfasts.  If breakfast parents would rather purchase granola bars and yogurt cups instead of bagels, that would be fine, too (just remember spoons!).  Or volunteers can recruit a 3rd breakfast parent, and divide the shopping even more!

There are about 55 lacrosse players to feed. The following is a recommendation list of what you can buy:

PARENT 1:  55 Bagels.

Note: The Bagelry on Vital Way 301-384-2322 gives Springbrook a discount.

PARENT 2:
    - Orange Juice – (2) each of 64 oz containers or individual packaged
    - Apple Juice – (1) 64 oz containers (or 1 apple, 1 cranberry) or individual packaged
    - Plain Whipped Cream Cheese -- 4 large containers (16 oz each)
    - Some kind of fruit -- bananas, grapes, oranges, apple or yogurt, granola bars, etc.
    - Napkins and knifes for cutting the bagels and spreading cream cheese
    - Cups only if serving juice from container

Snacks: consist of a drink (low-sugar such as Gatorade or water) and a healthy snack, e.g. fruit, granola bar, or other low-sugar snack. Usually one or two JV families sign up to bring drinks and snacks for JV and the same for varsity.

Snack Coordinator Job Description: Using the listserv, sign-up sheets at games and Parent Team meeting, solicit volunteers to provide snacks for games.

Team Dinners are held at a player’s house and can be hosted by one or more families. Dinners happen right after practice, usually 2-3 times a season. Each player is asked to bring $4 to help defray the cost of the dinner. Dinner usually consists of some type of pasta and salad and/or fruit. (spaghetti, lasagna, tacos, hamburgers, etc)

Team Dinner Coordinator Job Description Using the listserv, sign-up sheets at games and the Parent Team meeting, solicit volunteers to host team dinners.
